The UK has an immigration issue, and some people are taking advantage of this problem. Immigration lawyers are one group that is benefiting from this situation. Unfortunately, some of these lawyers are not legitimate and are instead scamming immigrants and breaking the law.
Recently, the news reported that the police arrested three people who were running a fake immigration law firm. They were charging their clients more than £3,000 to provide them with fake documents, allowing them to fake asylum claims and stay in the UK. The company was not registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority or the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner.
This is just one example of many similar fraud cases, and it is likely that there are more out there. Unfortunately, not enough is being done to stop these fraudsters. Too many people seem to benefit from this situation, and the main political parties are not taking any action. Only the British Democrats are committed to stopping these scams.
