Community Clean-up in Basildon
Report by Michael Jones British Democrats volunteers were out in Noak Bridge, Basildon, earlier this week taking part in a community clean-up. This action followed a request made by a local resident to our Parish Councillor, Chris Bateman, during the recent local election campaign. After receiving Councillor Bateman’s election leaflet, the resident emailed us asking for help. She had previously pleaded with both the local Council and the contractor, Morgan Sindall, to at least come and view the block regarding the following issues: • Bird waste accumulating in the entrance, which was both disgusting and a health hazard. There were…
More asylum madness in the UK
By Giuseppe De Santis Even if Labour claims otherwise it’s crystal clear that government is sending asylum seekers to small towns and cities against the wishes of local people, and a couple of stories reported in the last few days back this claim. The first item is about plans to house dozens of asylum seekers in 21 empty properties in a rural Shropshire village, which have triggered a furious reaction as locals are warning the community lacks the facilities to cope. The proposal would see up to 83 asylum seekers moved into vacant homes in Stoke Heath, near Market Drayton…
Swiss voters have rejected a proposal to cap the national population at 10 million
By David Furness About 60% of eligible voters took part in the referendum. Of those, almost 55% voted against the proposal, and 45% supported it. Overall, 33% of all eligible voters opposed the measure, 27% supported it, and 40% did not vote. The proposal would have required the Swiss government to cap the population, currently estimated at 9.1 million, at 10 million by 2050. The plan stated that strict limits on family reunification, residency permits, and asylum applications would take effect if the population reached 9.5 million before 2050. If the population exceeded 10 million before 2050, the Swiss government…

Cheap Labour: For every young Brit hired, employers take on 27 migrants
By Giuseppe De Santis A few days ago the story about high unemployment rate among British youth hit the headlines but as usually mainstream media ignored the real reason for that. In fact the real reason why countless British youth cannot find a job is because employers have hired 27 young workers from outside the EU for every British person taken on and this is happening while the number of people aged 16 to 24 not in education, employment and training, known as Neets, has soared to 957,000 and is forecast to rise higher. According to a recent research the…
Sovereign Finance & Sovereign Productivity for the British Worker
By Councillor Pete Lawrence Economic nationalism stands against the neo-liberal politics of destruction. We oppose the deindustrialisation, over-financialisation, and growing wealth inequality of late-stage capitalism. The cycles of life, civilisation, and human thought are unstoppable. Metamorphosis is inevitable, and freedom must come. Trade protectionism, industrial reshoring, and agricultural self-sufficiency ARE national security. Economic nationalism IS sovereign finance and sovereign productivity for the British worker. Why vote for another finance-capital manager of a Western European economic zone when you can vote for the renewal of Britain through the rise of the British worker? Vote Radical. Vote British Democrats. Follow us and…
Incredible Energy: A Campaign Defined by Non-Stop Action
The 2026 local election campaign has been a resounding success, fuelled by incredible momentum and a determined spirit for the British Democrats, where our unwavering hard work has truly come into play. One of our key objectives is to ensure that genuine Nationalism remains a vibrant, thriving force. We achieve this by blending active electoral politics with, community-focused action that truly makes a difference. A perfect example of this strategy is Basildon, where our British Democrats Parish Councillor, Chris Bateman, works…
British Democrats: Our Plan for Economic Nationalism
By Deputy Chairman, Stephen Smith Economic Nationalism equals National Freedom Economic Nationalism is not an end in itself. Of course, we want our people to have a high standard of living, prosperity, and health. But Economic Nationalism’s principal purpose is providing the solid foundations to nurture and sustain the authentic, sovereign national state! Aside of political entanglements, a future, independent Nationalist Britain cannot be at the mercy of; International Finance, Multi-National Corporations (who frequently avoid paying UK tax), Foreign Investors and large-scale imports of foreign manufactured goods and (essential to note) imports of foodstuffs and ancillary items associated with the…
Government Spending to Reach £572m for Students with English as an Additional Language
By Guiseppe Dr Santis The cost to British taxpayers for supporting students who do not speak English as a first language continues to climb, according to the latest figures. In some cases, schools are receiving up to £700,000 each to accommodate pupils who speak English as an additional language (EAL). Department for Education (DfE) data reveals that two schools, one in Manchester and another in Northampton, collected at least £500,000 this year to fund translators, bilingual teaching assistants, and specialized support materials. Critically, this funding is not “ring-fenced.” Instead, it is integrated into a school’s general budget, with local councils…
