The ‘Change’ promised by pre-election Labour began as soon as they took office. Riots were spreading across the country before we could comprehend the frightening prospect of five years of Labour misrule.
One of the first tasks Sir Keir undertook was to empty our prisons of real criminals while filling them with supposed ‘right-wing thug’ rioters. To achieve this, the man who said he would pursue wrongdoers ‘without fear or favour’ even managed to speed up the notoriously slow judicial process to the extent that many ‘rioters’ were identified, arrested, charged and imprisoned all in under a week—those on the ‘right-wing’ that is.
Liberals are quick to dismiss the concept of two tiers in policing and the judiciary as a ‘right-wing conspiracy theory.’ However, police themselves acknowledge the need for ‘cultural sensitivity,’ which most definitely does not mean sensitivity to the host culture.
I had intended to write about Ricky Jones, the Labour Councillor for Princes Ward in Dartford Kent, who, while addressing a crowd at an anti-racism demonstration in Walthamstow on 7th August, had described rioters as ‘disgusting Nazi fascists’ saying ‘we need to cut their throats and get rid of them.‘ In case of any confusion about his message, he emphasised it by drawing his index finger across his throat in a gesture that was recognisable to everyone.
After the demonstration, Sir Mark Rowley, Head of the Met Police, told journalists, “It went off very peacefully last night.” On 8th August, Jones was arrested and appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court the following day. He was charged with ‘encouraging violent disorder,’ but he did not enter a plea. Jones was remanded in custody at HMP Wormwood Scrubs. On 6th September, Jones appeared via video link for pre-trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court. He accepted that he had spoken the words captured on video, which went viral. However, he denied knowingly committing violent disorder or inciting violence and pleaded ‘Not Guilty.’ Jones was remanded back into custody with a bail application to be submitted.
Jones’s provisional trial date is set for 29th January 2025. As a result, we won’t be able to discuss this case. However, we will continue to follow this case with interest. Unlike the swift justice meted out to ‘right-wing thugs’, this case seems likely to be drawn out.
Starmer, however, showed no such hesitation in labelling the rioters as criminals before they were even arrested or charged. In Belfast, a judge made it clear that people involved in or watching the disorder would be refused bail. Many of the individuals who were charged were advised to plead guilty to avoid further investigation.
To emphasise the contrast in the treatment of those charged, I will only examine a few cases, even though, as of 24th August, over 200 individuals have already been convicted, most of whom have been jailed.
Many of these individuals, far from being the ‘right-wing thugs’, were simply concerned citizens. Many had been silent witnesses to violent crimes committed by non-natives while also feeling like they were becoming a minority in their own hometowns. However, to the establishment, these ‘ordinary people’ were an easy target, seen as easy to criticise without any pressure groups looking out for their interests.
Here are just a few examples of the Two Tiers in action:
Tier 1
Wayne O’Rourke, 16th August, charged with ‘Publishing online material intended to stir racial hatred‘ for messages he had posted on X (Twitter) between 28th July and 8th August.
Sentence: 3 Years in Prison
Daniel Kingsley: 15th August, charged with ‘Publishing online material intended to stir racial hatred‘ for messages he had posted on Facebook between the 8th and 10th of August.
Sentence: 21 Months in Prison
Tier 2
Dimitrie Stoica, a Romanian immigrant, on 9th August, was charged with ‘Sending a false communication with intent to harm‘ for live streaming himself on TikTok on 7th August running through the streets of Derby, claiming he was ‘running for his life‘ from right-wing rioters.
Sentence: 3 Months in Prison
As we had already seen in Harehills, Leeds, in July, Romanians are easily triggered to riot; therefore, this sentence seems unduly lenient.
3rd August Nick Lowles, Hate not Hope
Guaranteed to stir up hatred, not hope, Nick posted the following on X (Twitter):
‘Reports are coming in of acid being thrown out of a car window at a Muslim woman in Middlesborough.’
Cleveland police issued a statement saying that no complaints of such an attack had been made, but not before Lowles post had racked up 100k viewings (retweeted by Labour MP Josh Fenton-Glynn). It seems to have been instrumental in stirring up Muslim vigilante mobs who quickly took to the streets supposedly to defend their community and women.
Suppose all online posts are considered ‘publishing’. Therefore, Lowles (and Fenton-Glynn) should face harsher censure than O’Rourke or Kingsley due to their high public profile and broader reach.
Remarkably, or maybe not so remarkably, given that Lowles is a notorious hate-mongerer on the establishment Left, NO police action has followed what is blatantly a ‘call to arms’ for Muslims.
6th August Muslim violent disorder Yardley
Following widespread media rumours that EDL members were drinking there, gangs of young Muslim men, some wearing balaclavas and holding ‘Free Palestine’ flags, descended on The Clumsy Swan pub in the Yardley district of Birmingham. A man was confronted in the pub garden, and online footage shows the mob repeatedly punching and kicking him before they attempted to kick in the door of the pub where customers had barricaded themselves in.
The police and the local Labour MP, Jess Phillips, promised to bring the perpetrators to justice. However, I have seen little evidence of this happening. This is the same Jess Phillips who was jeered by pro-Palestine Muslim hecklers while delivering her victory speech after narrowly being re-elected as Labour MP for Yardley in the recent General Election. Phillips was later accused of “making excuses” for the masked gangs after she suggested the rumours of the ‘far-right’ gathering had been deliberately spread in a bid to cause trouble.
Leaders of the local Muslim community apologised after the attack, but this in itself seems to be evidence of two-tier policing and a sort of back-door Sharia Law, with police sometimes handing over to ‘Community Leaders’ to deal with criminal behaviour amongst Muslims.
In conclusion, it would seem that we have a government, police and judiciary running scared of provoking a potential Romanian or Muslim riot but willing to come down hard on the natives.
The police took a hands-off approach towards the Romanians on the rampage in Harehills, Leeds, in July. However, they quickly arrested local resident Nicola Darby, who lived nearby and came out to question the police about why they were not arresting the rioters. Her question was enough for her to be arrested and kept in a police cell overnight “for her own safety.”
The police themselves were later criticised for abandoning the area to the rioters when the going got tough, but not before they had bundled Nicola into a police van, swiftly conveying her to an overnight stay in a police cell. Subsequently, Nicola was sentenced to attend a Race Awareness Course.
Why is it always us who have to do these courses, never the ethnic minorities? Ours is the host country; they should be doing the Race Awareness training. However, the government, the police and the judiciary have created this cultural powder keg. They quickly blame and punish the natives when the powder keg periodically ignites.
In a baffling inversion of logic, reality, and justice, it appears that words are now more punishable than actual violence.
