The pro-immigration lobby keeps repeating that immigration is good for us. However, it’s a well-known fact that many foreigners coming to the UK are dangerous criminals, putting the lives of native Britons in peril.
Recently, it was reported that hundreds of murderers, paedophiles, and rapists from Eastern Europe have gained access to the UK despite their criminal records due to ‘weaknesses’ in the UK visa system.
Recent police data reveals that the ACRO Criminal Records Office conducted checks with officials in Romania and discovered over 700 cases in the past three years. These cases involve suspects in the UK who have a prior criminal record for serious offences, including murder, manslaughter, rape, or child sexual crimes committed abroad.
Data obtained through Freedom of Information laws shows that ACRO has conducted 317,757 cross-border computerized criminal record checks on foreign individuals arrested in the UK.
A study involving five nationalities revealed 524 cases of suspects with prior convictions abroad for murder or manslaughter, 441 cases involving suspects with overseas rape convictions, and 592 incidents of child sex offences.
Despite stricter post-Brexit rules that allow the Government to ban any overseas criminals jailed for more than a year, people only have to self-declare that they have not committed any serious crime to secure a visa to enter Britain. Of course, no one is so stupid to do that.
Allowing dangerous criminals into the UK is unacceptable. None of the three main parties are taking action to address this issue, which is why the British Democrats stand out as the only political party committed to ending this madness. We propose scrapping the human rights laws that currently prevent us from stopping foreign criminals from entering the UK.
