On Sunday, March 2nd, the British Democrats met in Maidstone, Kent. Members in attendance were inspired by an afternoon of speeches from some of our key officials. Our National Elections Officer, Lawrence Rustem, chaired the meeting.

Lawrence (image featured above) opened the event by speaking before introducing our Party Deputy Chairman, Stephen Smith who gave another interesting talk based on tactics and strategies.

The next speaker was Councillor Christopher Bateman. Cllr Bateman addressed three topics, including his local borough of Basildon, the proposed building developments on green spaces, and the petition against a specific development, which he is actively collecting signatures for.

During the break, members enjoyed a buffet with tea and coffee. The raffle was then drawn, followed by a fundraising collection in which the audience voluntarily donated to the party.

We were then treated to an impressive speech by Party Chairman Dr. Jim Lewthwaite, who delivered an engaging talk about the current political situation in the UK and abroad, along with his thoughts on future developments.

Before concluding the meeting, Lawrence announced that a significant amount of money had been raised, a testament to our progress and the dedication of our loyal members. This success should fill us all with pride and motivate us for the future.

New attendees later expressed their appreciation to our officials for the warm welcome and the friendly atmosphere at the meeting.

The unity and camaraderie among the members of the British Democrats is unmatched. We are a party of nationalists who collaborate effectively for our cause as we continue to build on our achievements.

The British Democrats would like to thank all the excellent speakers, our dedicated officials, members, and new supporters for attending this meeting and for their generous donations. Every penny raised funds essential campaign materials, and your contributions are invaluable to our cause. Thank you for your support!
