While the Labour government is cutting essential services and taking money from hardworking Britons to balance the budget, it’s also allocating a significant portion of the budget to immigrant benefits. This raises the crucial question: how much is being spent annually on immigrants?

Recent figures obtained through freedom of information laws reveal a startling trend. Costs have surged by nearly 30% over the past year, rising from £726 million to £941 million. What’s more, benefit payments to foreign nationals have almost doubled in the last three years, now reaching a staggering £1 billion per month.

In March 2025, households with at least one non-British or non-Irish national received £941 million in Universal Credit, a significant increase from £461 million in March 2022. This amount represents 15.5% of the total £6.05 billion cost for the benefit that month.

Every year, the Government spends £12 billion on benefits for immigrants. This amount is only the tip of the iceberg, as it does not include the funds allocated annually to asylum seekers.

It’s important to note that this significant spending on immigrant benefits is happening at a time when the Government is making other financial decisions. These include the elimination of winter fuel payments for pensioners and the imposition of new taxes on British citizens.

The British Democrats will put an end to this. The most effective way to stop the politicians being recklessly wasteful with money, is to replace them with patriots who will put British people first! The time for action is now.
