Once an asylum seeker’s claim is officially recognised, they are granted refugee status and are considered a refugee; this does not necessarily indicate that their asylum claim has been successful.
The Migrant Family Rule allows asylum seekers granted refugee protection to apply for their family members to join them in the UK. These relatives are then allowed to enter the country and can claim benefits immediately.
Many asylum seekers not only have wives but also several children, sometimes up to six or seven. The controversial Migrant Family Rule requires them to be accepted, and accommodation must be provided for all family members.
There has been a growing trend of foreigners arriving in the UK with a work, visitor, or study visa and then claiming asylum shortly after their arrival. The Labour government will provide them all with accommodation.
The Migrant Family Rule is absurd because it is applied before an asylum claim has been approved.
British citizens must meet specific financial and housing requirements to bring their foreign partners to the UK. In contrast, an asylum seeker who has been granted refugee protection can bring their family members to the UK without needing to demonstrate their ability to support them or meet the financial and housing criteria.
Charities such as the British Red Cross have funded the relocation of migrant families to the UK. Last year, the number of family visas issued to the spouses and children of refugees exceeded 20,000. The Home Office granted numerous visas to Afghans, Iranians, and Syrians.
UPDATE (1st September 2025): Thanks to intense pressure, the Labour government is temporarily suspending new applications for the Migrant Family Rule.
We are now at a breaking point due to immigration, both legal and illegal.
What’s happening is a process of ethnic replacement (ethnic cleansing). Labour, the Conservatives, and the LibDems all seem happy about it. Only a few decades ago, London was 95% ethnically British; now that figure has dropped to 35%. This replacement is occurring in city after city and town after town. Whether this transformation has happened due to mass immigration, violence, or an invasion, the outcome remains unchanged: we are being replaced.
We are now facing a national emergency. So, it’s time to eliminate the Labour Party, the Conservatives, and the LibDems; they are destroying this country!
The Labour Party has had Members of Parliament continuously since 1906, when 26 Labour MPs were elected to the House of Commons.
So, at the General Election 2029 (assuming Starmer doesn’t cancel it), the UK could be “Labour Party-free” for the first time in 123 years.
The British Democrats are committed to preventing the replacement of the British people in their native land.
