It’s a well-known fact that immigration increases crime rates as many immigrants come to the UK to commit crimes, but if this is not enough, there is another aspect that should concern native Britons.

Recently, it emerged that police spending on interpreters and translations has climbed to more than £19 million a year, and on average, forces spent in the financial year 2022-2023 more than £450,000 each.

In total, 42 out of 46 forces responded to the Freedom of Information (FOI) requests made by some activists, providing a cumulative total spend on translation and interpretation of £19,616,307 in 2022-23 – an £818,518 increase in 2021-22.

London’s Metropolitan Police, which services the largest demographic in the UK, dwarfed its rivals with £6,471,436 spent on these services.

How many additional police officers could be hired with this huge amount of money spent on interpreters and translations?

The forces that spend more to deal with immigrants could reduce spending by hiring some people who speak foreign languages. This hiring would enormously reduce spending on interpreters, as salaried multilingual people cost much less than paying interpreters by the hour. It doesn’t take a genius to do this, does it?
