For the second consecutive year, the British Democrats have polled the highest Nationalist votes across the country, easily beating some of the mainstream parties in the process.
With a strategic approach that focuses on grassroots campaigning, engaging with local communities and a dedicated team of volunteers, we have positioned ourselves as the most effective Nationalist electoral political force in Britain.
Our results are encouraging and the strongest on the Nationalist scene as we continue establishing ourselves in some regions of the country. Our vote share has increased significantly, especially in newly created wards and electoral areas previously unexplored by the British Democrats.
British Democrats’ results are as follows:
Waltham Abbey North ward on Epping Forest District Council in Essex: Despite facing a smear campaign from a ‘third party’ organisation that did not even stand in the election, Julian Leppert polled 323 votes, a party percentage of 22%. This result shows our resilience and determination to overcome any obstacle.
Shepway ward on Maidstone Borough Council in Kent: Lawrence Rustem polled 452 votes, a party percentage of 18%.
Christopher Bateman polled 475 votes in Castledon and Crouch ward on Basildon Borough Council in Essex, with a party percentage of 14.5%.
Wyke ward on Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Yorkshire: Dr Jim Lewthwaite polled 190 votes, 7% of the total votes. The media-hyped Reform UK fielded a candidate in the ward this time. Their candidate took a significant chunk of the patriotic vote away from Dr Lewthwaite on this occasion. However, things are expected to change when Reform UK eventually collapses or merges with the Tories.
In addition to the excellent results above, regular visitors to our website will remember that, in March, we beat the Labour Party to win the Chatteris Town Council by-election with a whopping 47% vote share—a stunning result.
Our party, the British Democrats, is a testament to the power of collective effort. Organised and run entirely by volunteers, every penny we raise through membership subscriptions and donations is spent carefully on election and campaign material. We couldn’t have achieved these remarkable results without each and every one of you. So, a huge THANK YOU must go to everyone involved with building the British Democrats into a credible and sensible Patriotic Nationalist political party. It’s a real TEAM EFFORT, and we are only just beginning!

The Party of British Identity
The Reform UK performance in the council elections was mediocre to say the least. Reform UK won only 2 council seats and their candidate in the London mayoral race, the uncharismatic Howard Cox struggled to get to 3% of the vote. They did win a seat in the London Assembly, but I can remember the BNP getting 2 in the 2008 London Assembly elections, and were also beaten by a Muslim candidate in the West Midlands Mayoral election.
Reform UK have got Nigel Farage as their party president but he seems more interested in what’s going on with right-wing conservative Republicans in the US rather than doing anything politically active in the UK at the moment and seems to enjoy working at GB News. Despite Farage, Tice, Habib, Widdicombe, Cox and Alex Phillips making regular appearances on GB News and TalkTv Reform UK’s local election exploits were a real flop. I hope Richard is right and that people are seeing through Reform and will vote for a genuine Nationalist party the British Democrats.
These are respectable vote percentages. British Democratic Party can make progress on this.
plastic patriots like Reform are now being exposed as fakes promoted by the media. Other patriots can’t get their act together so its left to the BDP to be a voice for native Brits. We need real Nationalism and not ‘Civic Nationalism’
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS
A great effort by the British Democrats in the wards that were fought we averaged 360 votes thats 15.25 percent and beat the LibDems and Greens in some of the seats. Also worth noting was the seats won by Independent Muslims in places like Oldham and the size of the vote they got in the mayoral vote in the West Midlands. Britain needs to start waking up.

The British Democrats are the only patriotic party with real potential. I’ve been a member of other party’s, but they all lacked the forward thinking, organisational skills and common sense approach of the British Democrats. If you want sensible nationalism, then look no further.
Absolutely spot on John.
Once again the small steps at a time approach to elections has payed off, the days of wasting manpower and precious funding are a thing of the past and fighting selected targets realistically does get results.
Manpower and dedicated members are crucial to spreading the word , with the encouraging elections results I have no doubt new recruits and associate helprs will step forward and thus provide the key to even more electoral success.
The future for the British Democrats bodes well for the party and country.
