The recent actions of the Labour government indicate a clear intent to replace native Britons with third-world immigrants. This explanation arises from the Home Office’s initiative to provide taxpayer-funded housing for 100,000 asylum seekers.
Ministers have been accused of exploiting taxpayers by spending billions on asylum accommodation, which starkly contrasts with the struggles of young British families trying to enter the housing market. This disparity represents a clear injustice.
Currently, approximately 32,345 asylum seekers are residing in hotels, while 66,683 are living in dispersal accommodations throughout the country. The Home Office has informed the Home Affairs Select Committee that this total could rise to 100,300 based on the asylum accommodation contracts with Serco, Mears, and Clearspring Ready Homes.
Officials acknowledged that the Home Office had increased payments to providers to assist in relocating migrants from hotels due to ‘challenging market conditions,’ which include a shortage of affordable housing, rising property prices, and increased demand for housing in certain areas.
They stated, “By raising the Dispersal Accommodation (DA) pricing and adjusting the volume caps, we aimed to give Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) providers greater buying power in the rental market, which would allow them to expand their capacity. However, in practice, the increases in DA pricing have not consistently led to the expected growth in DA capacity.”
The Home Office and asylum accommodation providers meet with council leaders monthly to discuss securing properties for housing migrants in various communities.
The Home Office’s submission to the Home Affairs Select Committee stated that the volume and distribution of Dispersal Accommodation (DA) is informed by an evidence-based indexing tool, which takes into account market availability, current population, and social pressures in each local authority area.
The significant financial resources allocated to support immigrants stand in stark contrast to the challenges faced by British people, many of whom encounter economic hardship and the risk of homelessness. It is concerning that none of the three major political parties demonstrate a willingness to address this critical issue, thereby leaving many of our citizens in a state of distress.
The British Democrats will address the current immigration invasion by advocating for the repeal of human rights legislation that obligates authorities to accept individuals who shouldn’t be in the UK in the first place.
