The Labour government has raised immigration levels but has not outlined a clear plan to address the challenges that come with it.
By 2030, four in ten new homes will be needed for migrants, underscoring the impact of migration on housing supply.
The Office for Budget Responsibility’s latest Economic and Fiscal Outlook predicts that net immigration between 2026 and 2030 will be nearly 1.2 million people.
In the same period, Britain is expected to build about 1.34 million new homes.
It is estimated that around 500,000 extra homes will be needed for new arrivals.
By 2030, it is predicted that 40% of new homes will be needed for immigrants. High immigration puts additional pressure on housing for current residents, affecting rents, house prices, and access to new homes. This will make it harder for local families to find housing.
In 2024, more than 1.3 million people were on social housing waiting lists in England, the highest number since 2014.
Immigrants have higher birth rates than people born in the UK. In 2024, over one in three children in England and Wales were born to mothers who were born abroad.
A spokesman for the Government said: “We are pulling every lever to build 1.5 million homes, restore the dream of homeownership and end the housing crisis we inherited.”
It has also been announced that asylum seekers will be housed in newly built council homes instead of hotels.
The Labour government cannot be trusted to “restore the dream of homeownership” to the ethnic British. Rest assured, Labour will be “pulling every lever” to fill those newly built homes with new arrivals from the European Union, and those who have arrived here on study visas, work visas, and family visas.
For decades, Labour and Tory governments have been busily engaged in allowing mass immigration into the UK. The British are being ethnically replaced, and this process has been happening for many decades. Ethnic Replacement is a euphemism for Ethnic Cleansing, which is a crime against humanity.

The 40% figure comes from a March 2026 Conservative analysis of OBR/ONS data. OBR forecasts 1.17m net migrants (2026-30), requiring ~499k homes based on ONS averages. With only 1.34m homes projected to be built in that window, migration-driven demand equals ~37-39% of new supply (rounded to 40%).
