The British Democrats have a plan to turn the UK around and provide a better future for British people. Below you can read some of the commonsense policies our candidates have been campaigning for during the General Election 2024.
1) Stop the migrant invasion
Let’s ensure our borders are secure. We are dedicated to preventing the replacement of the British people in our homeland. The British Democrats propose an immediate ten-year pause and moratorium on immigration, which would help deter Britons from feeling like foreigners in their own country and seeking to relocate elsewhere.
The flawed ‘One in, One out’ migration policy being pushed by other parties will produce an outcome of population replacement, which passively accepts white flight will occur.
We will withdraw from:
The UN 1951 Refugee Convention.
The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
The Global Compact for Migration.
2) Ease the cost of living
Take back control of utilities and strategic industries such as steel, water, and energy into British ownership. Attract investment into British-owned national competitors so that the private profits currently increasing our energy bills are reinvested into the nation.
Stop paying benefits to migrants and supplying them with social housing and four-star hotel accommodation.
Stop spending taxpayers’ money on foreign aid. Cease sending our taxes to fast-growing economies like India and China. It’s irresponsible for the government to borrow and give it away.
3) Solving the problem of the NHS and care industries
Stop recruiting medical staff and care workers from the third world. It is utterly immoral for the developed world to recruit health care staff from poor countries, when those workers are needed to care for their compatriots at home.
We should focus on training our own people and paying them fairly. Additionally, we should integrate the National Health Service and the Care Services and restructure the privately run care industry to achieve better care provision at a lower cost through improved financial efficiency.
4) Security
Increased spending on our national security can be achieved by making savings elsewhere through greater efficiency.
The best form of security is self-sufficiency. We want to be independent from other countries for products such as food, fuel, energy supplies, and strategic resources like steel and armaments. We will use our own resources in the national interest. The Labour Party rejects this for ideological reasons, and the Tories have failed to invest in these resources during their fourteen-year tenure.
Create a government-funded support system for veterans across the UK, working with existing Armed Forces charities to complement rather than replace them.
5) Our Commonsense Green policy
Let’s protect our countryside by putting an end to building on green spaces, agricultural land, and ancient woodland. Other parties are determined to cover our beautiful green and pleasant land with concrete. We must put a stop to that! Any new developments should be on brownfield sites.
Support our farmers by reintroducing direct farm subsidies, as we did before the EU era. Let’s support the farmers without penalising the customers.
6) Housing
Millions of people in the UK are currently waiting for social housing, and the increasing and unsustainable immigration levels are making the situation worse, leading to a housing crisis. The British Democrats propose to address this issue by implementing a ten-year moratorium on further immigration, which will help solve this crisis.
The increasing demand for housing in valuable greenfield areas is driven by ongoing large-scale immigration rather than by the expansion of the local population. We aim to safeguard our green areas by building new housing developments on brownfield sites.
Meanwhile, individuals with connections to the local area should have priority over new arrivals, considering their ties or contributions to the community. Priority in housing will also be given to British Veterans.
The Problem of Foreign Investors
Wealthy overseas investors, including numerous billionaires, have been purchasing property in the UK, pushing up prices and making it increasingly difficult for prospective first-time buyers looking to step onto the property ladder.
The foreign ownership of British properties has increased significantly in recent years, with many of these properties remaining unoccupied and used purely as investments. Foreign investors often rent out these properties to British tenants at a high price. Therefore, it is essential to take action to resolve this issue.
We must gradually limit (five to ten years) foreign buying of UK property. Instead, we should introduce a National Housing Bond that provides secure returns without property ownership.
After covering essential costs, all revenue from Right to Buy sales should have been reinvested into new community housing. Unfortunately, successive governments failed to do this. A future British Democrats government will ensure the protection of our housing stock to guarantee there is an adequate supply for future generations.
7) Net Zero policy
Net zero is currently unattainable because it’s impractical to phase out traditional fuels completely. It would have been better if we had focused on investing in local energy sources such as coal gas and nuclear oil many years ago. Instead of divesting, we plan to increase our investments. We aim to reduce energy bills by eliminating the 25% of green taxes.
Even though China and India are rapidly building new power stations, there’s no need to feel bad about investing in the UK. Our carbon production accounts for just 1% of the global total.

The Party of British Identity
Farage is not the real deal, but he has been useful as a gateway to real nationalism. British Dems are the way forward, more people will see that civic national parties like Reform and Ukip are just toeing the establishment line. the question is how long will that take, for the good folk of Britain to see this. It will take time and a great deal of effort Onwards and upwards!
Reform need exposing for the charlatans they are the fail to understand the LabCon uniparty are indistinguishable from each other Farage is too blinkered by going after the Conservative Party when Keir Starmer’s rabble poses a bigger threat to the UK
Everything that is needed to save our country stated clearly and without compromise. We need the sensible and genuine patriotism of the British Democrats to replace the pandering fake patriots of Reform. Their ‘one in one out’ immigration policy is nothing more than a sham, and if implemented, would prove just as disastrous for Britain as our current immigration debacle.
