A few years ago, Sweden welcomed asylum seekers with open arms. However, this influx of newcomers led to a significant increase in violent crimes, making many Swedish cities among the most violent in Europe.

Many native Swedes became upset, leading them to vote overwhelmingly for the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats party. This nationalist party has been urging the government to adopt stricter measures regarding immigration and asylum seekers.

The recent strict policy on asylum seekers has now been approved.

Under the proposed reforms, individuals whose asylum applications are denied must wait five years and leave Sweden before they can submit a new application. Migration Minister Johan Forssell stated that this reform aims to close legal loopholes that allow rejected asylum seekers to evade the law by hiding and reapplying shortly after their initial denial.

Additionally, the proposal includes an extension of the ban on returning to the Schengen area from one year to five years for those who fail to comply with the requirement to leave the country.

Another key change involves eliminating the possibility for asylum seekers to obtain a work permit without leaving Sweden. The government believes this will prevent abuse of the system, particularly by those seeking low-skilled jobs under the guise of asylum, and these changes are expected to take effect in April 2025, potentially reducing the influx of low-skilled workers and opening up job opportunities for native Swedes.

What’s happening in Sweden demonstrates that things can change if there is a political will, and Britain should take notice!

Unfortunately, not one of the parties at Westminster has the political will to do anything about the tsunami of asylum seekers reaching our shores, which leaves the British Democrats, as a serious, credible, patriotic party, with the policies and resolve to stop this immigration invasion!
