Scotland is currently in the grip of a serious surge in gang violence, with rival crime families fiercely competing for control of the drug market.
In the past two months, there have been more than a dozen arson attacks in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Residents are comparing the situation to a turf war, reminiscent of the movie ‘The Godfather.’ The fear and concern in the community make it imperative for Police Scotland to increase the number of officers who can address this issue.
However, the woke Police Scotland has decided to spend £70,000 a year to hire an ‘Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Lead.’ This person will lead the EDI team and work to “influence, encourage, and support” the force in striving to “eliminate discrimination, create equal opportunities, and incorporate diversity.”
It’s hard to see how this woke hiring can help address the turf war unfolding on the streets of Scotland. Clearly, officers of Police Scotland and Scottish politicians have different priorities, highlighting how disconnected they are from the concerns of ordinary people.
This situation is clearly unacceptable, yet no one in Holyrood is taking action. The British Democrats is the political party willing to address this issue, and many similar crazy schemes the establishment parties are wasting our money on!
