The political elite in City Hall have once again demonstrated their Anti-White agenda. Mayor of London Sadiq Khan attended the official opening of EbonyLife Place London in Nine Elms, the UK’s first dedicated African and Black cinema and cultural complex. Spearheaded by Nigerian media mogul Mo Abudu and modelled after her entertainment complex in Lagos, the multi-story venue combines foreign film screenings with African dining, art, and retail. Beneath the glossy praise from City Hall lies a stark reality: establishment politicians are actively facilitating the commercial and cultural footprint of foreign media empires while native British heritage is systematically pushed to the margins.

Instead of preserving our national heritage, establishment figures choose to celebrate community hubs that explicitly centre on non-native identity. Across London and the home counties, traditional British civic institutions, historic theatres, and community halls are closing at record rates due to crippling business rates, soaring council taxes, and official neglect. Rather than safeguarding native heritage or traditional local spaces, civic authorities line up to endorse foreign commercial ventures designed to cater to distinct ethnic demographics.

The funding and promotion of projects like EbonyLife Place, signal a profound, ongoing shift in the cultural landscape of our nation. When state broadcasters like the BBC and elected mayors prioritise external cultural preservation over our own, the long-term result is the erasure of native British identity in our historic homeland. A nation that refuses to defend its own arts, history, and physical spaces inevitably surrenders its identity to globalist commercialism and imported cultural loyalty.

The British Democrats reject this agenda of demographic replacement and municipal Balkanisation. We stand for national self-sufficiency, and the uncompromising defence of native British culture across our towns and cities. Public policy and municipal backing must serve the national interest, ending the practice of prioritising foreign empires over our native heritage.
