On Sunday, July 6th, members gathered in Maidstone, Kent, for the latest meeting of the British Democrats, chaired by newly elected Councillor Lawrence Rustem.

First on the agenda was a two-minute silence in remembrance of two Patriots who had recently passed away: June Ball and Paul Sturdy. Rest in peace.
Then the audience listened to two superb talks by Steven Johnson (pictured at the top of this page) and Paul Elliot.
During the break, members enjoyed a buffet with tea and coffee, followed by the raffle draw. There was also a fundraising collection for those able to donate towards party funds, including a donation from Paul Borg, who was unable to attend in person.
The second half saw brilliant speeches from Matt Godden and Party Chairman Dr Jim Lewthwaite.

We will publish videos of the speeches on our website in the coming days.
We thank all the members in attendance for making it another excellent meeting, as well as those who contributed to the fundraiser and donated raffle prizes.
