On Saturday 28th January, members of the British Democrats took part in a well attended protest in Trafalgar Square to voice our opposition to Sadiq Khan’s plan to extend the London Ultra Low Emission zone all the way out to the edge of every borough in Greater London.

British Democrats member from London, Michael Jones told our website team, “I attended this protest because I think it is very unfair to charge drivers £12.50 per day. I see this as just an attempt to raise money that won’t make any difference to the quality of the air in the outer London boroughs. I also don’t believe Sadiq Khan has a mandate to enforce this charge as there are allegedly some serious questions about his public consultation that have come to light.”

According to members of the GLA, Sadiq Khan was caught making false and dishonest statements to the London Assembly!
