The good news keeps on rolling in for the both the British Democrats and the Nationalist cause as a whole.
One of our key campaigners, borough council candidate from back in May, and former borough councillor in Barking and Dagenham, Lawrence Rustem, has been elected onto Detling Council in Kent.
After six councillor’s recently resigned from the council in Detling, Lawrence took the opportunity to submit his nomination as a British Democrats candidate, for a place on the council, and has been elected unopposed!
We are urging all of our members and supporters to get themselves elected or co-opted onto their local Town and Parish council. This is an excellent way of representing your local community and learning the ropes of how local government works.
This is the fourth councillor the British Democrats have gained within the last four months.

[…] Lawrence Rustem elected to Detling Parish Council […]
Nice one ,Lawrence has been there before his experience will help improve his Ward.
Well done Lawrence, this is sensible politics, no Mosque invasions, provocative marches, or stupid stunts, just old fashioned campaigning.
